Abstract

This article presents partial results related to political expectation and voting intention of the citizens from two postelectoral opinion studies conducted in the Federal District in April and May, 1997. In addition, the authors also analyze the importance of the elections and its results, where the opposition party PRD with Cuauhtemoc Cardenas representing it won, for the citizens of the city and the country in general. Finally, they present the results of an inquiry made in March, 1988, in the capital after 100 days of PRDS administration.
