Abstract

In this article, the work of the National Council for Teaching and Research on Communication Sciences is analyzed, 22 years after its foundation. From a historic and descriptive perspective, the author points out and argues about why, how and for what purpose does this council func¬tion. The text has some synoptic diagrams and it mentions the institutions that are part of it.
