Abstract

This article presents, in a general way, the antecedents of scientific divulgation in Mexico, to focus on the problem of how to define this concept: divulgation. Based on the semiolinguistic analysis, this discourse offers theoretical and methodological options to the study of divulgation, responsible of the transmission of scientific knowledge and its inclusion in the culture of a society.
