Ciberespacio y mundos virtuales ¿ocaso del principio de realidad?
Abstract
Through critical analysis between representations, "traditional" images, and synthesizing images, as well as between different representation devices, this work offers epistemological foundations aimed to settle some questions concerning the redistribution of roles and status of image and of the real derived from the spreading of electronic-digital technologies. Taking as a starting point the assumption of a change of episteme at work in contemporary world, conditions through which discontinuation of the principle of reality is entailed by the visual discursive order of such technologies are explored.
