Abstract

In this essay we reflect on the temporal aspects of social processes which make it possible to speak of a ''temporality of the social", as well as of the socialization of time. A sociology of time, as a separate research area, is both possible and makes sense based on the resurgence of social theory; social science today is carrying out a radical transformation of its conceptual ter¬minology in order to reflect an equally complex society.
