Antecedentes comerciales de los países que constituyen el Mercosur

Abstract

MERCOSUR is one of the recent initiatives of Latin-American integration belonging to the so called Open regionalism. But the relations among the countries belonging to the MERCOSUR, even with their geographical and cultural proximity, were not exempt of conflicts, the economic contacts especially commercial were not prioritary, but neither were marginal and the signature of the Tratado de Asunción in 1991, even if it has not generated links, possible will generate a dynamic for them; this article explains the series of processes merging in the creation of MERCOSUR.
