La teoría de las élites democráticas.

Abstract

The author analyzes the therm "democratic elite". He makes the relationship and states that Gaetano Mosca, Vilfredo Pareto and Robert Michels are the ones who can be considered the 'elitists' par excellence. Of the three, however, Mosca is the one who assumes the elitistic theory of democracy in a positive and conscientious manner. In order to assert the above, the author encompasses and makes distinctions among these authors, and in doing so, the apparent contradiction of the concept becomes clear.
