Cambio estructural y resultados productivos y comerciales del sector manufacturero en México.

Abstract

The collapse of the imports substitution model that was experimented on in Mexico during almost four decades modified the orientation of the country's political economy since the early 1980's. Since then, the demand of the internal productive integration has found the official purpose of structural change, through industrialization oriented towartds exportation as the central axis of the economy that fosters favorable commercial and finnacial relationships with Mexico and abroad. Nevertheless, the purpose of economic reestructuration has reached, immersed in stabilization politics implemented since 1987, results contrary to those that were intended, pointing the industrial sector as the essential cause of national economy distortions.
