Abstract

This article analyzes the modification of the main tendencies in land planning in Latinamerica, as well as the importation's substitution's model, which placed the axis of development in industrialization, due to the new neoliberal model that places the axis of economical growth in the balance of macroeconomic variables. In this sense, the variables considered go beyond the geographical and economical ones that influence the spatial structure and conformation that will mark the future of periphery countries, specially Latinamerica.
