Melucci: la teoría de la acción colectiva
Abstract
This article analyzes Alberto Melucci's theory of social movements in several key points: his constructivist approach, his view of social movements as symbolic challenges, and the constituing process of collective identities. In Mellucci's opinion, complex societies are characterized by the existence of new practices and types of action where in the informational handling is pivotal for its structuration. In this sense, collective action locates at the cultural realm as well as in a world ruled by the dominium of information.
