Trazos para una hermenéutica comunicativa
Abstract
The problem that unites the field of hermeneutics is that of interpreting meaning. For that reason, hermeneutics can be thought of as a communicative discipline, interested in casting light on the phenomena whereby meanings are created, exchanged, and interpreted. This work addresses the rewarding meeting between the interests of communications science and hermeneutic reflection. In doing so it explains, in broad terms, what hermeneutics can mean; it indicates the most salient features of contemporary hermeneutics and the discussions taking place in that field; and, finally, it identifies some of the ways in which communication can be approached hermeneutically.
