De la nuda vida a la ‘forma-de-vida’. Pensar la política con Agamben desde y más allá del paradigma del biopoder

Abstract

This essay examines the thesis of Giorgio Agamben according to which all the western political thought has been based on the logic of biopower, which has had as an extreme result the totalitarianism of the 20th century and, particularly, the “concentration camp”, which the author defines as the “biopolitical paradigm of the West”. Then, keeping in mind this critical background, some of Agamben’s suggestions would be considered in order to conceive politics beyond biopower.
