Los movimientos populistas del siglo XIX en Rusia y Estados Unidos

Abstract

Tackle the discussion about the meaning of the concept of populism. More than a general and comprehensive analysis of the topic, is necessary concentrate our attention on both politic movements that have self-proclaim populist: the Russian populist at the second half of the nineteen century and the North American populist at the last two decades in the same century. Each are generaly described and analyzed, to conclude with a comparison between both movements that contributes with several elements included inside of populism concept that are essential to analyze it, understand it and use it.
