Abstract

The objective of this article is to identify some characteristics of the security policy that have been proposed by Andrés Manuel López Obrador. I emphasize the ideational differences of political parties and how these distinctions guide public policies and decisions. I argue that his political project can represent an opportunity to generate a change in the organization of the State.
