Abstract

The democratic assault on the power of the Mexican left in 2018 is an unprecedented event in its forty years of legal life. Knowing and understanding the political strategies designed and undertaken by the triumphant electoral coalition is a research challenge facing the potential transformation of the country’s public sphere, mainly in the political regime, the economic field and social policy. The analysis calls for an understanding of the decisions and strategic adjustments of Morena to attract majority support at the polls. With both purposes, this document aims to clarify the diagnosis, proposals and motivations of the elected government for the period 2018-2024. The subject is approached from the frame analysis by E. Goffman.
