Identidad y cooperación en los recursos de uso común

El presente trabajo busca representar cómo la identidad ayuda a explicar la cooperación en las condiciones de recursos de uso común (Ostrom, 1990, 2005). Apoyados en las teorías de Ostrom (2005), Akerlof (2010), Sen (2006) y Axelrod (2004) se examinan las implicaciones y los desafíos que se derivan de incorporar múltiples identidades en un modelo basado en agentes (MBA). La identidad es un factor explicativo poderoso para dar cuenta de la emergencia y evolución de patrones de interacción cambiantes en el tiempo. Permite observar y reconstruir fenómenos como la agregación en colonias que son individualmente benéficas y ambientalmente sustentables. La identidad como una fuerza que une y separa agentes, contribuye a la búsqueda de soluciones locales y globales que inciden simultáneamente en los beneficios individuales, colectivos y ambientales.
