Enrique Krauze y la escritura de la historia

Abstract

This essay aims to conduct a historiographic analysis of the history writings of Enrique Krauze, in order to contrast them with the assembled set of practices, procedures, and validation rules used in academic arenas by professionals in this field. This examination will attempt to identify the distinctive nature of each discourse and thus provide elements for explaining their complex and problematic relations. Finally, it attempts to highlight the limitations of an approach to history that minimizes the knowledge produced and socialized within scientific communities.
