Sector informal urbano en América Latina
Una perspectiva crítica.
Abstract
Since the mid-seventies, the lost of salary jobs and the proliferation of unstable work have been a constant of capitalism. This fact accounts for the theoretical notoriety of such words as informal sector and underground economy to analyze the new reality. However, what is the exact meaning of such words? Are they analog or different words? Does their theoretical use allow us to approach an explanation of that problematic? On the other hand, on the contrary, does it take us further away from understanding it? This essay offers a partial answer to these questions, and also contributes to the construction of such notions, reviews the use of such concepts, and proposes alternative solutions to those social-economical problems of today.
