Abstract

With the introduction of the electronic technologies for mass information –in 1920 with the radio and in 1950 with the television–, the ideological power of colective mass media slowly overflowed the traditional national State sphere control and of orientation, and this entered into a new phase of vertiginious development which very quickly went beyond the limits of conventional political and law controls created by the Mexican State. In this way, this modern media power developed as an independent ideological power which faced the other three formal republican powers which constitute the national State (Executive, Law and Judicial Powers), and even in some cases it reformulated and substituted them. Therefore, with the consolidation of the new media power, it slowly emerged in our country a new real power which gave birth to the new IV Media Republica in Mexico in the XXI century, with its correspondent changed State.
